2024 Ford Explorer Exterior
Last year, the Ford Explorer 2024 received its final facelift. It, of course, looks great as always. As a result, don’t hold your breath for the following model. Except for the new ‘Timberline’ trim, which is entirely built for the off-road or at least as stylish as the off-road version, we believe most will look the same. The front and back ends have been beefed up for a more aggressive appearance.
The Ford logo is linked to a large crossbar in the centre of the grille at the front. The front bumper has a unique design with an orange paint that gives it a dynamic appearance. The back is decorated in the same way, with a color-coordinated recovery hook. Then there are the newcomers.
2024 Ford Explorer Interior
The inside design of the 2024 Ford Explorer is sleek and appealing, with subtle contours and the proper location of everything important. The interior’s two-tone color gradient is relaxing. Everything appears to be pleasant, from the gorgeous steering wheel to the smooth side curves. However, once approached, the plot takes a small turn because the content isn’t the greatest in its class.
Because the majority of the surfaces are made of inexpensive plastic, we believe it is average. There are seven seats in all, all of which are extremely comfy. The dashboard design is also good, but not exceptional, as other vehicles in its class have a more appealing appearance. The 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system is fantastic.
2024 Ford Explorer Engine
Our guess is that the engine configuration for the 2024 Ford Explorer will be similar to that of last year’s model. The 2.3 Liter Turbocharged Inline-4 cylinder engine in the base model produces 300 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 310 lb-ft of torque at 3,500 rpm.
If you’re still looking for more power, there’s a 365 horsepower 3.0 Liter V6 engine available. A hybrid version is also available, with a 3.3 Liter V6 engine and an electric motor producing 318 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 322 lb-ft of torque at 3,000 rpm when combined. The ten-speed automatic transmission connects all three engines.
2024 Ford Explorer Release Date and Price
The 2024 Ford Explorer has yet to be given an official release date. However, it is expected to be phased out of production in the fall of 2023.
There is currently no official pricing information available for the 2024 Ford Explorer. However, given the pandemic, it’s easy to anticipate price rises across the range, which started at $35,000 and went all the way up to $58,000.
