The 2023 model’s exterior features a restyled back hatch and window, as well as new 18-inch alloy wheels for LE, SE, and SEL variants. Cloth seats, a 7.0-inch touchscreen, and a single USB charging port are standard on the ES.

The powertrain makes it through, but it’s not in a rush to get anywhere. The 152-hp 1.5-liter turbo-4 drags from a stop, and the continuously variable automatic transmission feels a step behind the driver’s directions. Standard all-wheel drive improves traction and costs the same, with a combined fuel economy of 26 mpg.

The ES starts at $25,795 and goes up to $27,045, $28,045, and $29,295 for the LE, SE, and SEL. The SE model is the greatest deal in terms of price and functionality.
