2023 Hyundai Palisade – Because of its impressive exterior, huge cabin, and solid warranty, the Hyundai Palisade is one of the best three-row SUVs on the market. It helped Hyundai establish a new sales record in early 2022, and there’s not much this vehicle can’t do well as long as you can find one without foul-smelling seats. Following a minor improvement for the 2022 model year, we now have new confidential information regarding the 2023 Palisade. A reader of Allnew-Honda.co was looking for a new Palisade online and came upon a paper about the 2023 model on the automaker’s website, which he emailed to us right away. The changes are substantial, to say the least.
2023 Hyundai Palisade Exterior
In February, we caught a glimpse of a restored Palisade, but we can now confirm that the outside will be fully redone. Bumpers, grilles, headlights, wheels, and mirrors will be changed all together. In pictures, the Palisade does not appear to differ significantly from the paper, but the bottom frame of the grille is narrower. The outside photos highlighted in yellow appear to be from before the facelift, with the highlighted areas showing where changes will be made.
Rainforest will be removed from the color palette and replaced with Robust Emerald. Auto-dimming side mirrors with integrated turn signals are among the new features. The SEL Convenience trim will be withdrawn, and a new XRT trim will be introduced to join the trend of sturdy moderate off-roaders like the Honda Passport TrailSport. The XRT comes standard with dark 20-inch wheels, “rugged” lower bumpers with skid plate inserts, a dark grille finish, higher roof rails, and a power sunroof. All-wheel drive will be an option, and a new Tow Mode will be available.
2023 Hyundai Palisade Interior and Feature
Even more significant changes will be made in the cabin. The old eight- and 10.25-inch touchscreens will be replaced by a 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation. All-new features include dynamic speech recognition, a full-display rearview mirror, hydrophobic windows, remote smart park assist, the Digital Key 2.0, and Bluelink improvements, but some trim-specific features are still available. The quality of interior design appears to be improving. According to the newspaper, the upper dashboard, instrument cluster, floor console trim, steering wheel, and seating surfaces are all spanking new.
Intelligent cruise control and reverse parking collision avoidance help are two more new features. In addition to the tough XRT, the SE, SEL, Limited, and Calligraphy trim levels are available. The SE’s base model has Highway Driving Assist I, a larger touchscreen, and over-the-air upgrades. The SEL will have an eight-way motorized front passenger seat, wireless charging, and a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system in 2023. The Limited’s third row seats will be heated, and the Calligraphy’s top-spec model will get remote smart park assist, a full display rearview mirror, and reverse parking collision avoidance help.
2023 Hyundai Palisade Powertrain
There appear to be no mechanical modifications other from the new Tow Mode. The 3.8-liter GDI V6 engine, which produces 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, will remain unchanged. It’s connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
2023 Hyundai Palisade Release Date and Price
With new design, more technology, and a tough XRT option, the 2023 Hyundai Palisade appears to be a major upgrade over the current model. The 2023 Palisade’s pricing was not published in the newspaper, although Hyundai has stated that it will be available this summer.
