2023 Ford Transit Connect – The all-new Ford Transit Connect is coming in 2023. Ford reportedly transferred production to Mexico’s Hermosillo Plant. A new Ford Maverick truck and a new Ford Bronco Sport SUV will be produced at the same factory. The Transit Connect van will continue to compete with well-known models like the Mercedes-Benz Metris and the Ram ProMaster.
Nonetheless, Ford has stronger sales now, and a new model will have even more improvements. The Transit Connect is available in a variety of powertrains, trim levels, and body designs. It also has a comfortable ride, an optional AWD system, and plenty of other features. Here’s what we know so far, without further ado.
2023 Ford Transit Connect Exterior
According on what we know, Blue Oval will make major outward improvements. The 2023 Ford Transit Connect will maintain its distinctive appearance, with a new design and styling. Plastic bumpers and 16-inch wheels are included on the base model. Larger alloy wheels are available as an option. Standard fog lights, LED headlights, and taillights are also included with the Transit Connect.
The van measures 220 inches long with a 131-inch wheelbase. Major modifications are expected, such as new exterior colors and a completely revamped front fascia. A new platform is possible, but only for the all-electric E-Transit vehicle. There are still a lot of rumors floating around, so we’ll have to wait for Blue Oval to provide more information about the external facelift.
2023 Ford Transit Connect Interior
Inside the cabin, the same treatment will be given. Additional updates are available for the Ford Transit Connect in 2023. The latest model has a 4.2-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. It also has an out-of-date SYNC3 infotainment system. As a result, the new model will have a larger screen, most likely a 7-inch or 8-inch display. SYNC4 infotainment will also be available. Although the Transit Connect has a lot of high-tech features, it doesn’t have Android Auto or Apple CarPlay phone connection.
The 2023MY will most likely include software for mobile phones as well. The list of safety aids is what we admire about this vehicle. Blue Oval will provide a variety of driver-assistance features, regardless of which trim level you choose. The cabin design will alter, but we don’t have any specifics on how the interior will look.
2023 Ford Transit Connect Engine
The all-electric E-Transit model is on its way. The Ford Transit Connect will, however, continue to offer traditional combustion engines in 2023. A 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 162 horsepower and 144 pound-feet of torque is standard. It has an automated transmission with eight gears. Nonetheless, we believe the optional 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is a far superior alternative. This engine produces 169 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque and comes with a six-speed automatic transmission.
2023 Ford Transit Connect Price and Release Date
The starting price for the lowest trim level is $29,000. The passenger wagon and cargo van body types are available. The Ford Transit Connect 2023 is available in three trim levels, with sales starting later in 2022. As previously stated, a new model will be constructed in Mexico’s Hermosillo facility.
