According to numerous sources, Ford is bringing its desert racing skills to new heights, developing off-road terrain for the most ardent fans.
The 2023 Bronco DR was shown in early November, just in time for the 2021 SEMA Show, giving the Bronco a new racing variation. Furthermore, a single-piece grille and Bronco’s circular headlamps, taillamps, and trail sights are easily identifiable. Other distinctive features include a red “R” in the front grille’s “Bronco” font, as seen on the Bronco R model, and massive red tow hooks.
The Bronco DR is built on the same basis as the standard Bronco SUV with four doors. It does, however, come with side panels from the Bronco R. This vehicle is further distinguished by its distinctive mud-terrain all-season tires and other off-road accessories.
2023 Ford Bronco DR Engine Specs
Desert Racer is an abbreviation for the upcoming 2023 Bronco DR. With bigger tires and thicker fender flares, this isn’t your typical production Bronco, as the photos reveal. Ford hasn’t revealed all of the facts about this insane off-roader, but instead of a turbocharged four- or six-cylinder engine, the Bronco DR comes with a 5.0-liter V8. According to Blue Oval, the legendary Coyote engine will deliver at least 400 horsepower. A 10-speed automatic transmission from the Ford F-150 pickup vehicle is also included.

Ford chose Multimatic-designed billet aluminum lower control arms and Muiltimatic DSSV Dampers. It will be easier to manage high-speed off-road travel as a result of this. The Bronco DR is expected to feature 55.1 percent more front suspension travel and 58.6 percent more rear suspension travel than the Bronco Badlands, according to Ford.
